I have a fondness for older, European O/Us, especially for ones like you see below. The doubles have everything you need — 28″ bbls, decent dimensions — and they appear to be beautifully made and in good original condition.
One thing: I would double-check the chambers on the 12 gauge. They may have come from the factory or 3″, or someone may have bored them out. Buyer beware.

MERKEL, .410 Over-Under Double Barrel Shotgun, 28” bbls F/F: Round knob pistol grip, single trigger, serrated horn butt plate, cocking indicators, solid rib, automatic ejectors, late 1920’s manufacture, scalloped and rebated receiver, imported by A.F. Stoeger, completely original untouched gun, highest quality between the wars workmanship, an extremely small-action tiny gun. 14” x 1 5/8” x 2 ½”. 5lbs. 11oz. Price: $13,995

Franz Sodia Model Over Under Shotgun, 12 Gauge, 28″ bbls: Beautifully engraved case hardened receiver shows minimal signs of wear and use. The barrels are 28″ long and choked full and full. The barrel has a ventilated rib with a matte finish and a silver bead. The barrels have a blued finish with a few small scratches, and wear around the muzzle. The European Walnut buttstock and forearm are finely hand checkered, and have a few minor scratches from regular use. The buttpad is fitted with a Pachmayr Decelerator buttpad. Price: $3,799.99
