John MacPherson 2 Inch Light Game Boxlock: 12 bore, 2 ” chambers, 28″ fluid steel barrels Nitro proved at 1 1/8 oz., choked .020 Mod and .027 IM, ejectors, 5 lbs. 12 oz., 14 3/4″ LOP over a red Silvers pad, 1 1/2″ DAC, 2 1/8″ DAH, neutral cast, fine English scroll engraving on action with  “John MacPherson & Sons” on both sides, straight grip, splinter forend, double triggers, ejectors, vacant gold oval in stock, Churchill style rib. Circa 1951.  A lovely condition gun with much case color and hard to find 28″ barrels on a 2″ chamber gun.  Also a bit heavier proof and weight than most 2″ guns. $5999
