Parker Quality G 12GA–LIFTER, FACTORY 98% FINISHES ONE OF THE BEST REMAINING, NICE
Parker Quality G 12GA–LIFTER, FACTORY 98% FINISHES ONE OF THE BEST REMAINING, NICE

Parker Quality G 12GA–LIFTER, FACTORY 98% FINISHES ONE OF THE BEST REMAINING, NICEYear 1882, 12 Gauge, 7lbs 15oz, SxS, #22993. When some Parker collectors hear of a Grade 2 lifter gun in 12ga. they yawn casually, as most you will ever see are “grey guns”, with most of their finish gone, cut stocks, butt pads, repaired cracks, pitted bores, loose on face…the list goes on as the guns are over 100 years old and saw a LOT OF USE.  Those same guys will perk right up when you mention one with HIGH, FACTORY ORIGINAL CONDITION.  They only made about 2500 of these guns total, and this gun, sn22993, is likely one of the finest Quality G, Grade 2 damascus Parkers left on the planet.  Made in 1882 and still matching the factory letter to the “T”, the gun is in untouched, factory original condition with 98% vivid case color, 95% Damascus pattern remaining, near perfect factory checkering, perfect screws, and most all its original factory wood finish intact.   Some would call it a “museum quality” piece, but most I know would take it to vintage shoots, show it off, and break some clays with it, then take it afield as one of their favorite upland guns to shoot a few birds with each season.  Parkers in this condition and low production numbers are continuing to grow in value and the best examples bring extraordinary prices and high demand.  This is one of the best you will ever see, so don’t hesitate if you want it in your collection!  Thanks for looking. Price: $14,750

Parker VH Grade 20 Gauge Double Shotgun, 26 Inch Barrels, Very Rare with Original Box
Parker VH Grade 20 Gauge Double Shotgun, 26 Inch Barrels, Very Rare with Original Box

Parker VH Grade 20 Gauge Double Shotgun, 26 Inch Barrels, Very Rare with Original BoxIt’s not often that we have the opportunity to sell a firearm as special as this Parker.  In all the years we have been in the firearms business, neither we or any of the other dealers we have talked with have ever had an original box with a Parker Shotgun.  The 1921 vintage shotgun is a Vulcan Grade 20 Gauge with 26 inch barrels that is built on the lightweight O frame.  It is in the best condition we have seen in years with nearly 100% original blue and 95%+ original case colors, with the only wear apparent on the gun is a small loss of case colors and small dark staining spots on the sides of the breeches of the receiver, probably from “box wear”.  The bores are mint and the wood is nearly flawless, with only a couple of very small handling marks in the finish.  This is probably the nicest 20 Gauge Parker most people would ever see, and it is made extra special by having its original box.  This is undoubtedly a “once in a lifetime” chance to own a very unique Parker Side-by-Side. PRICE: $14,750

Parker GH 16 Gauge – 1904, FACTORY 99%, “O” FRAME DAMASCUS, FINEST COLLECTOR CONDITION
Parker GH 16 Gauge – 1904, FACTORY 99%, “O” FRAME DAMASCUS, FINEST COLLECTOR CONDITION

Parker GH 16 Gauge – 1904, FACTORY 99%, “O” FRAME DAMASCUS, FINEST COLLECTOR CONDITIONWhen chasing Parker guns one might see a few Parker GH 16ga. guns for sale, after all they made almost 3000 of them, 2316 with Damascus barrels and about 650 with Parker Special Steel barrels, so they are not RARE.  HOWEVER, THIS GUN IS AN EXTREMELY RARE, WHOLLY FACTORY ORIGINAL, UNTOUCHED, COLLECTOR QUALITY GH 16GA..  Why would I claim extreme rarity?  For one, it is on an “O” frame, or 20ga. frame and we all know there were few graded Parker 16’s built on an “O” frame, less than 10% of total production for sure.  So that means among Damascus guns they made about 200 of them.  We all see them from time to time; the grey, well worn, field used Parker GH grade guns…cut stocks, cracks, pins, worn to the nubs.  That is what is usually for sale.  Two hundred “O” frame 16ga. Damascus GH Grade guns made, and this is likely THE FINEST IN EXISTENCE, with 99% strong factory condition in every part of the gun.  Factory case color at 99%, factory Damascus pattern 99%, factory wood finish 99%, factory trigger guard blue 95%, mirror bores, factory bore diameter, chambers, and chokes, factory 99% checkering…even the dog’s head butt plate is 99% excellent!  I do see a lot of fine Parkers, but in my lifetime I have seen few as clean and definitively factory original as this little gun.  The 28” Damascus barrels are just stunning, the wood is English walnut as it should be with a gun built in 1904.  I am able to state that this Parker GH 16, sn128304, is the finest I have ever seen.  And at 6lbs. 2oz. it is a delicate wand in hand, ready for a most pleasant walk in the upland habitat or to crush some vintage sporting clays targets.  When you call something an “investment quality firearm”, this would be your perfect example; low production, desirable features, and extremely high, untouched factory original condition.  These are the gun you have to step up to the plate and pay the premium price for, as you will not have an opportunity to own such a gun again.  The value of a gun like this one will continue to rise as more and more of the remaining guns are used, abused, and restored.  Don’t let this one get away.  If you ever wanted an example of a fine Damascus Parker, this is the one for your collection.  Gotta love the way the “O” frame 16ga. Parkers feel when you pick one up, and this gun even has great shooting dimensions.  Thanks for looking! Price: $9,450
