Excellent and all original with most of the Damascus finish on the barrels and considerable blue, grey case hardening on the frame. Floor plate with modest amounts of blue. Walnut pistol grip checkered stock and forend with the original finish in fine condition. Factory logo embossed hard rubber butt plate. Mint bores and perfect working order. Of special note-several sources including the late Norm Flayderman consider this the first American made hammerless double barrel shotgun. Parker VHE (Ejector) 20 ga., Side-by-Side, 28″ Steel bbl, Factory Single Trigger, Made in 1928 “0” Frame: Here is a used Parker VHE, auto ejectors, 20 gauge, Perfect lightweight “0” Frame, 28″ barrels (Rt–IC fixed choke, Lt–IM fixed choke with bright shiny bores). 20 gauge shotgun extremely light and balanced but enough gun for geese or long range sharptails. Built in the roaring 20’s when America was great! The perfect balanced Parker is a 20 gauge on the “0” frame with 28″ barrels–arguable the best!! Original finish, Rare Factory single trigger, 70% case colors on left side of receiver, 35% on right side of receiver, 90% case colors on the water table, bottom of receiver shows wear probably from leather glove from hours of being carried in the field. Screws are unblemished. Original grip cap and blank shield, wood shows handling marks from normal use. Left side of forearm shows slight chip at the front near the barrel. Please see pictures.
