Browning Superposed SuperLight 28ga & 20ga – 28” 26.5” – IC/M – ca. 1984 – The Ultimate Upland Combo – Only One in Existence: Gregoire Engraved and Signed – I acquired this gun from the original owner some years back – at that time it was unfired. Since then, I found a set of 28ga barrels “in the white” from Browning and had them custom fitted to this gun, turning into the package I’m presenting today. The work was done by Browning Master Gunsmith and the barrels are numbered #1 and #2 respectively. I have hunted this gun and have enjoyed it thoroughly. The 28ga barrels are Lightning Model Barrels but because of the era they fit perfectly and I like both the wider Lightning field rib on the 28ga and the tapered rib of the 20ga barrels – best of both worlds. The package comes ready to travel in a Negrini Uplander Model case – I have used it during air travel and it is the coolest and most functional case for this setup. This is a very fine shotgun and is one of 217 total Superlight guns made in 1983/1984 era – some of the last of the Belgium guns. I guess the question becomes, where can a man find a 28ga superlight…? Very hard to find. Note: I have a Browning letter for the original 20ga configuration – obviously does not talk about 28ga barrels. Price: $27,995
