WILLIAM EVANS ENGRAVED BOXLOCK SxS 12 GAUGE 30″: For sale we have an engraved William Evans side-by-side shotgun in 12 Gauge. This London made shotgun features a factory engraved boxlock action with William Evans signatures, case colored finish, double triggers, and tang safety with gold inlay, a straight grip walnut stock and splinter forend with multi-point checkering and checkered butt. The barrels are 30″ with concave rib marked “William Evans, 63, Pall Mall, St James’s London, and features 2.5″ chambers and ejectors. choke constrictions are .016/.023 respectively for Right/Left bore. Barrels have original Birmingham and 1992 dated proof marks. Shotgun is in excellent overall condition, and comes in a very interesting wood and leather case with original 1930’s era travel stickers, including for the Cunard/White Star line.
