Gun made with 30″ barrels, fancy checkered splinter forend that has horn tip and fully engraved Deely latch release and iron. Scalloped boxlock receiver is full coverage scroll and relief game scene engraved as seen in the photos. The barrels are relief engraved at breech ends with birds in flight. Stunning relief engraved Spaniel on top lever at center. Gun built with original gold inlaid side safety. This gun remains in amazing all original condition. Barrels with more than 95% lustrous original blue and a couple of minor marks. Frame retains more than 80% original case color which is hidden by the full coverage engraving and relief panels. Stocks are excellent with more than 95% original finish with minor handling marks. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect. Case is excellent as are accessories. Accompanied by a 1994 dated letter from Graham Greener outlining this gun as having been made September 1919 and finished as a Model G60 or “Royal Quality” Gun. W.W. Greener RFHT60 450/400 3 1/4” SxS Double Rifle: My days of hunting in Africa are probably over so its time to pass this fine Greener 450/400 3 1/4″ double rifle along to someone who may take it back once more. It has 28″ barrels with excellent bores, one standing and two folding leaf rear sights, ejectors, weighs 10 1/2lbs, and a LOP of 14 5/8″. The actions locks up tight and solid. I believe the metal finishes to be original with the case colors faded to about 20% in protected areas. Barrel black is in very good condition except for the area where I carried the rifle in my hand and that area is a bit faded. The wood is solid with scratches and abrasions appropriate to a 99 year old rifle that was used to hunt. Checkering is very good. Price includes shipping.
