Rare Ithaca NID 3E 10 ga. 3 1/2″ Magnum Side-by-Side: Rare Ithaca 3E 10 ga. circa 1933, 3-1/2″ magnum 30″ barrels fitted with Briley Chokes to enable modern wildfowl loads. Single trigger, auto ejectors, auto safe. Straight stock, splinter forend of highly figured walnut measures 1-1/2″ comb 2-1/2″ heel, length of pull 14″ over Hawkins pad. The massive action retains 75% strong case colors and crisp engraving. Barrels about 97% finish with some blemishes in the blue perfect bores no dings or dents. The wood to metal is excellent, some minor marks in the original varnish. Estimated only 24 Grade 3E Magnums were ever produced. Weighs 11 pounds. Price: $4,850

Bores are excellent measuring .731 right and left. Choked .016 right and .044 left. Minimum wall thickness of .027 right and .028 left. Chambers remain 2″. London proved for 7/8 oz. shot. Receiver retains 70% fading case colors with border engraving. Barrel, floorplate, and trigger guard blue remain at 97% Stocked in a lovely piece of English walnut with very nice color and contrast with receiver drop points. Vacant stock oval. LOP is 14 7/8″ over a 1/2″ striated wood buttplate. DAC-1-3/8″ DAH-2 1/8″ Cast off 5/8″ Weight of 5lb 9oz This piece, built in 1946, remains in very nice condition and is tight and on face. Barrels ring. It remains perfectly in proof. Cased in its factory leather trunk case with correct Atkin, Grant & Lang trade label and snap caps. Also with bore brush, mop, and rosewood cleaning rod. Case is in excellent condition inside and out. Unusually tight chokes for a 2″ gun but easily opened to suit your desires. The long length of pull can also be easily shortened to suit your needs or even lengthened with a pad. Joseph Lang & Son has been a very respected London maker dating back to 1853.
