This gun is a Piotti “Lunik”, part of the company’s top-of-the-line King series of side by sides. Along with it’s incredible engraving and great wood, it’s metal-to-metal fit is fantastic and the wood-to-metal fit is just as nice.
Piotti was founded in the 1960s by brothers Araldo & Faustino Piotti (“fratelli” means brothers). One of their early guns was used in the ’72 Munich Olympics to win a gold medal and for decades professional pigeon shooters have relied on Piottis to win big money.
