If you’re looking for a classic American shotgun that’s perfect for wild pheasants, here it is: a straight-gripped, 12 gauge Parker GHE, built on a 1 1/2 frame. It’s looks pretty original, and $2850 should be decent deal — especially with that straight-gripped stock and great dimensions.
12 gauge Parker GHE Double Barrel Shotgun: Double trigger. All original except the era correct Jostam butt pad. Barrels are 30″, uncut. Bluing is original overall in good shape but has some discoloration. There are some remaining case colors with original patina. Original wood. Handling marks. A really, nice honest gun. Unrestored. The rt. bore is .732. the left bore is .731. The rt. choke is .028(IM). The left choke is .037(full). This one and one half frame gun weighs in at 7lbs 4oz’s. LOP is 14.5″. DAC is 1.5″. DAH is 2.25″.
I would rate this gun overall at 80%. It is original and everything works well including the ejectors. Selling well below Blue Book. I am selling this at about the 30% rating in the Blue Book. It is a wonderful gun for a lot of different shooting. The bores are mirror. Parker Special Steel barrels. Everything checks out correctly in the Parker gun serialization book.Serial number series is 212xxx somewhere between 1924 and 1925. Price: $2850.
