
Victor Sarasqueta was a Spanish shotgun maker who opened for business in 1883 and firearms were made under his name up until around 1980s. This little 28 gauge sidelock side-by-side was made for the U.S. firearms importer Stoeger. For just $215o, it looks like a decent little shotgun.
Sarasqueta 28ga: Made for Stoeger as “The Sterlingworth” in the 60’s. Metal is in like new condition with very crisp 50% engraving coverage, stock has been professionally redone to resemble a British style field gun. Perfect bores on 26″ barrels with full chokes in both. True side lock in Holland style with interceptors and well finished. LOP is 14 1/4 to hard rubber plate. DOC = 1 1/2, DOH 2 5/16. It weighs 5 1/2 lbs.
