You never know what you going to find at an action. Just take a look at this 12 gauge Parker VH coming up at United Country – Legacy Auction & Realty in Pocono Summit, PA, on Sunday, September 23, 12:30 PM, ET.
–Parker Model VH 12 Gauge Shotgun with Extra Barrels
On the face of it, it looks like a nice, sound, Parker, late manufacturer (#240647), nice condition. But here’s the kicker: the auctioneer says “Bottom of lugs on the barrels marked: 12 on one and 1/2 on the other.” So is this a super rare 1/2-frame Parker, or just a 12g on a 1 1/2 frame? I don’t know, but if I were into Parkers I sure would want to find out.
