I’m not a huge fan of Winchester’s M21 double barrel shotgun. I’ve always found them to clunky — especially when they’re tricked out with pistol grips, short barrels, beavertails, and single triggers.
But here’s a M21 that’s actually nice. It’s on Gunbroker.com now and the auction ends 10/13/2013 9:27:39 PM ET. It’s a 20 gauge, and with its 28″ barrels, a straight grip and double triggers, it’s about as British as a Winchester can be. That’s probably why I like it. The Brits are famous for making sleek, elegant doubles. Even though this M21 was made in America, it sure looks like it aspires to be more like it’s ancestors on the other side of the Atlantic.
