
I’ve always liked drillings, probably because they seem so practical. With one gun I could kill everything from a goose to a moose — especially if I was carrying the one you see here.
This J.P. Sauer & Sohn sidelock drilling and its in 12 GA x 12 GA x 9x57MM. That’s pretty much all the firepower I would need for anything that walks or flies in North America.

J.P. Sauer & Sohn Sidelock Drilling: 12g x 12g x 9 x 57mm, 2 3/4″ chambers, 26 3/4″ bbls, 14 1/8″ LOP, 8 LB. Action and sidelocks are mostly patina with barrel blue starting to patina. Bores are excellent! Wood shows handling & use marks but remains free of cracks. Lockup is tight with no looseness on the hinge. Price: $1,999.99
