2. This gun was made with 2 3/4″ chambers, so its original forcing cones are intact (unlike older guns that have been opened up to 2 3/4″).
3. It features the same chrome-moly steel barrels that Remington used in its shotguns Many people prefer Remington chrome-moly steel to older style steel used in Meriden-era Parker shotguns.
4. Remington was known for using high-grade wood on field-grade guns. Take a look at the stock on this VHE to see what that means.
