Gorgeous high original condition A.H. Fox XE Grade 12ga 32″- Lightweight A&F Gun w/Great provenance: Gorgeous high original condition A.H. Fox XE Grade 12ga made with 32″ Chromox barrels. Long splinter forend with ebony tip. Frame is beautifully engraved in oak leaf and game scene pattern as seen in the phootos with scallops on top and bottom. Gun has double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. The round knob pistol grip buttstock is richly figured European walnut and beautifully scallop border checkered and terminiates with an aging Hawkins brand pad. This gun was sold through Abercrombie and Fitch in 1949 for the estate of the original owner, Maximilian Arther Ramirez. Ramirez was a Cuban born physician who lived on Park Avenue in NYC. The gun has his initials “MAR” professionally stamped in the ball grip as seen in the photos. Overall, the gun remains in excellent original condition. Barrels with 95-97% factory blue. Forend is excellent and sound with minor impressions. Frame with more than 90%++ bold and vivid original case color.
