“Where are all the great guns?” That’s what some friends of mine have been saying lately. While good guns are always coming on the market, truly great ones have been scarce — until today.

This pair of 12 gauge Boss & Co sidelock side-by-side shotguns popped up on Gunsinternational.com this AM. They’re as good as vintage British shotguns get.

In their day, these SxSs were the pinnacle of gunmaking, and two of the most expensive shotguns in the world. Today, they’re rare, and still cost a fortune. From what I can see, no one has messed them up by trying to refresh or restore them.
