Here’s your chance to get a deal on the finest shotgun Ruger has made. This 28g Red Label is Gunbroker.com now with No Reserve. This online auction ends 12/17/2020 @ 7:46 PM.

My dad bought me a Ruger 10/22 when I was 13. I plinked a lot of cans with that rifle. and became a fan of Ruger firearms.
So I wanted to love the Red Label over-under was a shotgun. But they never did it for me, until I came across one of the 28s. All the sins the 20- and 12-gauge models committed — too heavy, crappy fit & finish, no real “fee” — were missing from the 28.
The Ruger Red Label introduced in 1977 and built until 2015. The first Ruger Red Label were were 20-gauges with 26″ barrels. The company started offering 12s in 1979, and in 1994 they introduced the 28g. Twenty-eights came with 28″ & 26″ bbls, and with straight grips & pistol grips, and they were lightweight, dynamic little guns regardless of how they were setup.
