Here’s your chance to get a deal on one of my all-time favorite over-under bird guns. This Beretta BL-4 has everything you need for upland hunting: 3″ chambers, ejectors, IC & Mod chokes, a single selective trigger. It looks a little used (yeah – the pics suck), but it also looks like you can get a great deal on it if you act now.
Beretta was one of the first gunmakers to offer an OU on a low-profile, Boss/Woodward-style action at a price most Americans could afford. The companies first generation of these OUs was launched in 1955. In the U.S., they were called the Silver Snipe, Golden Snipe, & Ruby Snipe.

They were followed by Beretta’s BL-line of OUs, which showed up in here in 1968 and were imported until 1973. Like on the Snipes, Beretta’s BL OUs used modern steels and a simple trigger plate action with dependable coil springs. The barrels were built with a unique monoblock design and the guns BL-4s came with vent ribs, automatic ejectors, and hand engraving.
