Get on this one fast. This 20g Browning BSS Sporter is priced right, and I guarantee it won’t be on the market for long.
Miroku of Japan made these boxlock SxSs for Browning, and they’re based on the classic Anson & Deeley boxlock design. Rugged and dependable, they’re only drawbacks are their weight — they are a bit heavy — and the stocks can be a bit thick.
This one’s special because it’s a Sporter, so it has a trimmer, English-style, straight-grip stock. This makes it a bit lighter than most 20g BSSs — and a bit better looking. It does look a bit used, but I don’t see any signs of abuse. If it checks out with your gunsmith, it should be a great all-around upland gun.
