- Barrels – about perfect condition.
- Bores – as new and measure exactly as they left the factory in 1959.

- Butt Stock – original, but some finish issues. No cracks or repairs. New laquer fixes any problems with the Butt Stock. The butt plate has shrunk. I’ve seen this on Beretta shotguns from this era before.

Arrieta Model 578 SLE 12 Gauge: 28″ barrels with smooth, tapered, solid rib and front brass bead sight, choked cylinder and modified. 2 3/4″ chambers, ejectors and double triggers. The stocks are nicely figured, the butt-stock has a straight grip with wrap-around extended checkering, and a tear drop on both cheeks. The forend is splinter design with matching checkering as the butt-stock. Condition: The barrel blue is in very good plus condition with just a few light marks. The receiver’s cased-colors have faded some since the shotgun left the factory.
