Ithaca Grade 4E 16 Gauge SxS Shotgun. FLUES, 97% FACTORY CASE COLOR, NICE! Year 1920, 16 Gauge, 7lbs 4oz. This gun, sn330025 built in 1920 is a great example, with 97% vivid factory case color, 92% factory barrel blue, 98% factory trigger guard blue, and near new highly figured factory finished wood with beautiful flor-de-lis checkering. This is a HIGH CONDITION FACTORY ORIGINAL GUN. Even the jewelling at the breech face is still evident. The only thing that seems to be altered since the gun left the factory are the chokes, as the gun is stamped “4 & 4″ which would indicate F/F chokes. The 28” barrels are presently choked IC/M (.007/.017) with their double ivory beads and mirror bores. This is a gun for heavy work, with minimum wall thickness of 36 thousandths and weighing 7 1/4lbs. What a great sporting clays gun or pheasant gun for heavy loads! Engraved by the famous Joseph Loy, with his trademark signature, the gun is near new in all ways, including being tight on breech face and hinge pin like a new gun. This is a single trigger gun that still has the ornate factory butt plate and great stock dimensions. A great investment in an American treasure. Price: $5,250
