When it comes to side-by-sides, Beretta isn’t the first gunmaker that comes to mind for most American shooter. Most of think O/Us. But Beretta has been making SxSs longer than over-unders, and in 2003 they their newest model the 471 Silver Hawk.

The Silver Hawk came out right when the vintage shotgun craze was at its peak in the US, and it was one of the first “new” SxSs offered by a maker outside of Spain. A lot of people liked then. and reviews in The Field and in the American Rifleman were positive. If there was a complaint, it was that the shotgun was overpriced. Personally, I thought the Silver Hawk has always been a good deal. If you disagree, here’s a chance to find out what one is really worth. This Silverhawk is up for auction now, and it’s being sold at no reserve. The listing ends Sunday, 1/25/2015, @ 7:45:00 PM ET. So if you like, get your bids in soon.

Beretta 470 Silver Hawk 12 ga mint 28″bbls:  This is a like new Beretta 470 Silver Hawk .12 ga shotgun with 28″ barrels. It does have the 3″ chambers and is choked full and full I believe by the markings. 18.4 and 18.4. As you can see from the photos hard to tell if it’s ever been shot. Bores are like mirrors as is the jeweling on the action. No box with this one but in like new condition. Beautiful wood and checkering.
