



The Ithaca Gun Co. used to be one of the biggest gunmakers in America. Up until the WW2, they turned out more SxS shotguns than any other maker in this country. The Flues model double was the company biggest seller. From 1908 to 1926, Ithaca made 223,000 of them (Parker made 95,000 side-by-sides in the same period.)
Ithaca 4E Flues 12 ga. SxS: A truly magnificent, 100% original 4E. 32” full and full barrels with twin ivory beads. Double triggers. Retaining close to 90% original case colors and 98% blue. The straight grip buttstock is dramatically figured with a “sunburst” of grain. 13 5/8” LOP, 1 ½” DAC & 2 ¼” DAH. Even the original pad in excellent condition. 9 lbs. 3 oz.
Before the Flues, Ithaca made a Lewis model, and before that gun was their Crass model double barrel.
