Here’s a good deal on a great little bird gun. It’s a 16 gauge Parker VHE with 28″ barrels. The VH-grade was Parker’s most basic graded shotgun, and one step up from their more streamlined Trojan models.

Parker introduced it VH line of hammerless doubles in 1899 and they offered them right up to the company’s end. In that time, they made a lot of them – 78,670.

Parker VHE 16 Bore: #1 frame,16 Bore, SN 235XXX, 28″ IC/M, no pitting inside or out, barrels have turned a nice pertina, original wood finish with normal use marks. Original dog’s head buttplate. Very nice shooter or a great canidate for upgrading. Price: $2750
